1. Transport position - The blade can be completely folded away for transport.

2. Cutting position for round cut - The raised blade area near the handle cuts easily around thicker sheaths and the scale helps to control the cutting depth.

3. Cutting position for round and lengthwise cut - When aligned straight, the blade can be used for circumferential and longitudinal cutting, the latter by pulling or pushing.

4. Cutting position for lengthwise cut with ratchet - In this position, the blade is movable and cuts even particularly thick or tough cable sheaths very easily thanks to the ratchet function
