A 24-inch Hickory Sledge Hammer Handle is a replacement handle for standard sledge hammers. Hickory is the traditional and most respected wood for hammer handles, providing an optimal combination of shock absorption, flexibility, and strength. A 24-inch handle is suitable for medium sledge heads in the 7-10lb range used for demolition and general striking work. The replacement handle extends the working life of a quality sledge head without replacing the whole tool.
We process and dispatch orders on working weekdays (Monday to Friday), excluding bank holidays. Any orders placed on weekends or out of hours begin processing the next working day. We have a daily cutoff for same-day dispatch of 12:00, so if you place an order before midday for an item displayed as 'in stock' it will be collected by our courier later that day. You'll receive an email notification once it has been scanned on by our courier, with a tracking number that you can follow on the carriers website.
