The Burpee Pick is a must for geologists and paleontologists. Solidly made and forged in one piece, this 17-inch-long pick was designed with the professional in mind. Three magnets in the side of the head allow for material analysis. Estwing’s patented Shock Reduction Grip® reduces impact stress.
The Estwing 'Burpee' Pick is solid forged from one piece of steel giving it unsurpassed balance and temper. The head consists of both a chisel edge on one side and a pointed tip on the other. Within the head are 3 magnets which allow for testing the magnetic properties of material. The tool has a bonded and moulded Shock Reduction Grip which offers the utmost in both comfort and durability, while reducing vibrations caused by impact
We process and dispatch orders on working weekdays (Monday to Friday), excluding bank holidays. Any orders placed on weekends or out of hours begin processing the next working day. We have a daily cutoff for same-day dispatch of 12:00, so if you place an order before midday for an item displayed as 'in stock' it will be collected by our courier later that day. You'll receive an email notification once it has been scanned on by our courier, with a tracking number that you can follow on the carriers website.
