DOWSIL 817 is a white, neutral-cure silicone mirror adhesive specifically formulated for bonding mirrors to walls and substrates. Unlike standard silicone sealants, DOWSIL 817 does not contain acetic acid or aggressive solvents that can attack the silver backing of mirrors, preventing the blackening and silvering degradation commonly known as mirror edge rot.
We process and dispatch orders on working weekdays (Monday to Friday), excluding bank holidays. Any orders placed on weekends or out of hours begin processing the next working day. We have a daily cutoff for same-day dispatch of 12:00, so if you place an order before midday for an item displayed as 'in stock' it will be collected by our courier later that day. You'll receive an email notification once it has been scanned on by our courier, with a tracking number that you can follow on the carriers website.
